Finals

Here are my final posters.. I chose to use the three images below for that particular poster becasue i felt they showed isolation well together and told a story.
This photo was one of my favourites and i feel it shows isolation well so i decided to make a poster of just that photo.

I like the poster below because it shows natural isolation with the path it shows a manmade item (the can) and a natural object the wood bench all isolated yet all different.

Borders

Looking back to my research i noticed some artists had put a black border round there photos and i thought this looked very effective so i decided to try it and found it to work very well.

Here is an example of before and after

and some more examples of borders i experimented with..

Grid

For my final piece i have decided to do 3 a2 posters and a book with all my photos in.
For my posters i decided to use three images on one page that were related to help tell a story of the isolated figure. i used the grid system on photoshop to aline my images so it was aesthetically pleasing.

Liverpool

I travelled to the liverpool for the day to see what pictures i could capture and took some effective photos   i then used photoshop to make them black and white because i found that to look the most effective and decided my project would be in black and white and then book that i will design at the end will all be in black and white.

Image Minipulation

I found making my photos black and white really effective and found it to really help portray isolation well.

Here i made the background black and white however made the item the coke can in colour still to make it look more isolated and this made it look as though it didn't fit in which was effective

Here i used the same method as above and i also experimented with making the figure a siloutte which i found both methods to be effective.

Editss

I used the black and white technique on my photos again and found it to be very effective. It made my picture's more dark and helped express isolation and loneliness more.

I experminted with enhancing the colour and making them more vibrant to see the effect it created and found in black and white the picture was more dark and showed isolation where as in colour it showed solitude because it made the mood of the picture more positive.

Here below i turned the figures into black silhouettes and found this to be very effective because it gave the pictures more mystery and made the figure look even more isolated.

Picture Time

I went out of the urban environment and took some pictures in the countryside because i felt that showed isolation and perhaps solitude very well. I had a lot more success with these photos and took some in the day/dusk and at night and found this helped set different moods to the photos

This picture above i feel looks effective and shows isloation and loneliness well.

I like this photo of the bench because it shows isolation through something that is not living and is different.
